A few days after Robin and Megan’s first recital, all three girls danced in another show. They were in several dances in this one.
I went way overboard taking pictures, and now it’s too hard to narrow them down….
Robin taught a class of 6, 7, and 8 year olds this semester, which she decided was a bit easier than teaching the 3, 4, and 5 year olds like she had last spring.
Addie had a speaking part this year. She did a great job!
After the finale, the teachers did a surprise dance for the students: a unique version of a song from Frozen.
It was a wonderful evening!
We got to spend Thanksgiving with Bob’s family. Music is always part of our time together.
Bob’s sister Kathy taught Addie and Lucas how to play a song on the ukulele.
Bob’s nephew Buddy is always so sweet with our little ones. He played a lot of ping pong with them this time – among other things!
As a special treat, Bob’s mom and his sister Barbara treated us to a painting session, taught by Bob’s niece, Katy. Kathy, her daughter Mikaela, Robin, Megan and I got to spend 2 hours hanging out and attempting to paint “Starry Wisemen”. We all had some complaints about how our camels turned out – but we had a great time!
On our last day with them, we got to visit the climbing gym where Bob’s niece Mikaela works. Back in my previous life before Bob and I got married, I spent a lot of time rock climbing, so it was fun to give the kids an opportunity to try it out. We had a great time!
Kathy and Lucas decided that they would just watch.
We always have a nice time with Bob’s family, although the time always goes by too quickly.
